You'd never know... The Difference You Can Make
The growing problems of families in our communities - their social isolation, their lack of education, employment and resources, the increasing number of single-parent homes - are real. They affect all of us, yet many never know the difference we can make through gifts of time, talent and treasure.
As a not-for-profit agency, Family & Children's Center's success depends on a variety of public and private partnerships. And donors, specifically, play an enormous role in enabling services vitally needed in our communities - services that will bring about healthier individuals, better family lives and brighter futures.
As a society, we fail together or we succeed together. An investment in Family & Children's Center is an investment in better tomorrows for others and for ourselves. Please know that you can make a difference.

Ways to Give
We gratefully accept gifts of all sizes throughout the year and in whatever form works best for the giver. While cash gifts are most common, other forms of giving may offer donors significant benefits based on their particular goals and circumstances.
- Gifts of cash - generally accomplished via cash, check or credit card, these go to work immediately and can be designated for operations or specific programs.
- Sponsorships - great option for business or corporate donors; sponsor the Guardian Gala of Hope event or our True Blue initiative and in return receive annual marketing and public relations benefits (see Guardian Gala of Hope or True Blue links to the right).
- Gifts of stock and real property - these gifts provide a triple benefit, in that they provide the giver a charitable deduction and eliminate capital gains taxes while at the same time helping to further the Family & Children's Center mission.
- Matching gifts - many employers offer matching gifts programs, enabling you to double or triple the amount of your gift.
- Memorials/Honorariums - memorials offer a wonderful way to remember a friend or loved one in a lasting way, and honorariums can provide recognition for a special occasion. Upon receiving your gift, the center will send news of your tribute without mention of amount to the family of the deceased or the honoree(s).
- Pledges - a larger gift payable over time, generally 3-5 years. Gifts to The Children's Fund fit under this option.
- Better Tomorrows Society (planned gift) - includes individuals who have named Family & Children's Center in their wills, trusts and/or life insurance policies. Contact the Development Office or your investment advisor for more information on this option.
