Residential Treatment
Program Highlights
• Provides a 24 hour therapeutic milieu for boys and girls ages 6-17 years with exceptional emotional, behavioral and academic challenges
• Offers individualized services with an on-site case manager, therapist and child psychiatrist
• Features a relationship based approach incorporating a progressive motivational system utilizing Positive Behavioral Support and Trauma Informed Care models
• Program emphasis on reducing the use of seclusion and restraint
• Treatment includes weekly individual and family therapy, group therapy at least two times weekly, on and off-site recreational therapy, one-on-one mentoring and daily living skills training
• Services can include AODA and mental health diagnosed treatment
• School options include Family & Children's Center’s alternative school or La Crosse Public Schools
• Provides transportation for home visits/in-home therapy and/or cost of hotel stay for on-site visits or family therapy
