School Based Treatment for Middle School Students

With cooperation from the Winona Area Public School District, this program combines a half-day of special education with a half-day of intensive therapeutic services. Serving middle school aged youth; our goal is to integrate students back into their normal school environment. Our program is a positive support for youth struggling with anxiety, poor self-image, relationship troubles, mood difficulties, or aggressive behavior. The team approaches youth using a trauma informed framework to help identify needs and provide support to the child and their family to improve overall well-being. The program focuses on building skills that lay the groundwork for future success.

Students must meet or qualify for Special Education services, must have a current IEP, and be enrolled in the Winona Public School District
Students have exhausted the resources of their school or their needs cannot be met by the current supports offered in their school environment
The program works very closely with parents, schools, and other collateral services
