Family and Children’s Center Weston Youth Home provides 24 hour a day, continuous supervision for youth ages 12-18. Our Direct Care Staff (DCS) provide support, supervision and interaction with the youth in our care. DCS guide and teach as they set and enforce limits. We are looking for compassionate, driven, and dependable employees with the desire to assist the youth we support in reaching their goals and leading a high quality of life.

Weston Youth Home DCS provide assistance with daily activities such as:

  • Positive Behavior Support
  • Basic life skills coaching
  • Medication administration
  • Community activities and outing
  • Homework/studying

Successful candidates will be energetic, willingness to be active and engage in outdoor activities. Some experience in the therapeutic recreation, teaching/mentoring or coaching is desired, but not required. Family and Children’s Center provides paid, on the job training.

At the time of the interview, you will be able to discuss hours and shift availability. We are looking for part-time and on-call candidates. Family and Children’s Center provides training that will give employees the knowledge needed to provide positive behavioral supports for youth displaying challenging behaviors.


Valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving history

20 years of age or older

Availability to work various shifts, weekends, and holidays

Willingness to complete required trainings, including CPR/First Aid/AED training
