SUMMARY:Suicide Prevention Training Session
DESCRIPTION:You can prevent suicide in your community! Just as people are trained in CPR and the Heimlich maneuver to help save thousands of lives each year. People trained in Question\, Persuade\, and Refer (QPR) learn how to recognize the warning signs of a suicide crisis and how to help someone who is at risk. QPR can be completed for free in one hour in a virtual format. \nThe sessions will be held: October 27 at 6 p.m. \nPlease register by emailing vanessa.southworth@livewellwinona.org in order to get access to online materials and the meeting link. \nTraining is supported by a grant from the Minnesota Department of Health and is open to people living and working in Fillmore\, Houston\, Olmsted\, Wabasha\, and Winona Counties.
