April 18 and 19
4 to 7 p.m.
Family & Children’s Center’s The Other Door is highlighting the benefits of creating and enjoying artistic expression during ‘Art: Discovering the Sanctuary Within’. The two-day exhibition will take place at The Other Door, located at Family & Children’s Center’s Vernon County offices, located at 1321 North Main Street, Viroqua, WI.
“Creating and experiencing art can open doors and reveal pathways to transformational healing,” said Suzie Howe, The Other Door coordinator. “Experiencing the varied forms of artwork created within our community can be inspiring for community members to find or create their own safe harbor.”
The two-day ‘Art: Discovering the Sanctuary Within’ exhibition will take place April 18 and April 19 from 4 to 7 p.m. The show is free to attend for all community members.
The exhibition is part of an ongoing series to create the opportunity for artists and art lovers alike to come together to enjoy creativity and expression.
