Artwork from children from Winona and surrounding communities will be on display at the ‘A Safe Family’ art contest judging at Family & Children’s Center on April 9. The focus of the project is to design a project that promotes safe families to raise awareness in April during Child Abuse Prevention Month.

Judging will take place at FCC’s offices, located at 601 Franklin Street, Winona, from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

FCC is partnering with Winona County Primary Prevention Project (WCPPP) for the annual art competition, previously known as ‘Hands Are For’.

Nine student winners will receive $50 gift cards during a reception on April 16, starting at 5 p.m. at WNB Financial, 204 Main Street, Winona. Community members are invited to attend and celebrate the hard work of all the participants.
