Dahl Automotive’s Lube-A-Thon raises record breaking $40,431 contribution to FCC
WINONA, Minn. (WKBT) — The results are in for 2023’s Lube-A-Thon.
Dahl Automotive presented a check for $40,431 to Family & Children’s Center on Wednesday.
The money was collected through the Lube-A-Thon promotion Dahl runs throughout September.
Dahl donates $5 from every oil change they perform, and guests have the opportunity to match that donation.
Oil changes at Dahl are also discounted an extra $5 during Lube-A-Thon.
This September, Dahl did over 3,000 oil changes, which led to the record-breaking donation.
Family & Children’s Center President and CEO Tita Yutuc said a donation like this shows the heart of the community.
“It feels like people care and that they understand that there’s a need in the community and a need that we all have to come together,” she said.
FCC will use the donation to support their child abuse prevention programs.
