Adolescents with anxiety are invited to take part in weekly sessions hosted by Family & Children’s Center, teaching cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and social connectedness.
The group is designed for adolescents in sixth through eighth grades who are experiencing anxiety. To participate, adolescents can be diagnosed with anxiety or may be experiencing anxiety without obtaining or fitting an anxiety diagnosis. The group is open to adolescents of any gender identity.
The closed in-person group will run for eight weeks, with one group session weekly.
Payment for the sessions is by insurance or self-pay.
