Family & Children’s Center partners with Advance Auto Parts for 2025’s Holiday Wish
Christmas is fast approaching, and two organizations have partnered for the 2025 Holiday Wish program, this time serving vulnerable teenagers in our community.
Now through Tuesday December 9th, Advance Auto Parts, located at 9396 WI-16 in Onalaska, WI will be collecting donations of new pajamas, socks, t-shirts, and underwear. Those looking to brighten the holiday spirit can stop by, pick out an ornament, and return that clothing donation to the store.
Collaborating with Family & Children’s Center, these donations will help provide clothing necessities for teenagers in La Crosse and Viroqua, WI as well as Winona, MN.
In addition to Juvenile Services, Family & Children’s Center provides Domestic & Children Abuse Services, Family Support Services, Foster Care, Housing and Residential Programs, Mental Health, and Respite Services from their locations in La Crosse, Viroqua, Winona, Sparta, and Black River Falls.

LA CROSSE (WKBT) — The Family and Children’s Center is spreading holiday cheer through a partnership with Advance Auto Parts for the 2025 Holiday Wish program, collecting essential clothing items for teenagers across the region.
The collaboration runs through Tuesday, Dec. 9, at the Advance Auto Parts location at 9396 WI-16 in Onalaska.
The drive focuses on gathering new pajamas, socks, t-shirts and underwear for local teens. Providing basic necessities that often get overlooked during traditional holiday giving campaigns.
“We are auto parts, but sometimes that’s where we’re seeing those families struggling. It’s a daily reminder when you see those families struggling to buy parts to keep their cars going that the holidays are still going to be rough for other areas. That’s why we find area organizations we can work with,” said Advance Auto Parts General Manager Jennifer Donley.
Those looking to brighten the holiday spirit can stop by the Onalaska location, pick out a Christmas ornament, and return with their clothing donation to receive the ornament as a thank-you gift.
“We’re hoping to fill that Christmas box here, maybe more than once, help the youth get what they need. It’s the really basic essentials that tend to get overlooked when they get to celebrate the holidays,” Donley said.
