Handmade wooden toys donated to Family & Children’s Center in La Crosse – Toys will go to Healthy Families Program
Some holiday gifts are meant to last a lifetime.
Volunteers delivered hand-made wooden toys to the Family and Children’s Center Thursday morning. The toys will go to kids in the Healthy Families Program.
Once the child gets the toys, they can add their own creativity. “This year, we made this little village. So they are eight buildings, and then we paint them with chalkboard paint. So that way, the kids can draw on their own windows and doors,” said Scott Cooper, who delivered the toys.
Cooper has been making and donating toys for 21 years.
