Inspiring Free Event For FCC Set For November 1st

Family & Children’s Center (FCC) is inviting the public to an inspiring evening for the 2nd annual Bridges to Better Tomorrows event November 1, from 5:15 to 7:30 p.m., in La Crosse, Wisconsin, at the Weber Center for the Performing Arts.

The event is free and open to the public for anyone who has loved FCC for decades or for those who wish to know more about the agency’s prevention, intervention and treatment focus.

“Family & Children’s Center staff is painting a new picture for thousands of individuals and families,” says Tita Yutuc, CEO/President of FCC. “As our clients are grateful for the support we give them, so are we continually grateful for the support from community members to help ensure our clients can enjoy better tomorrows.”

Guests will enjoy complimentary hors d’oeuvres and beverages from The Waterfront Restaurant and Tavern. At 6:45 p.m., a special program will include stories about the ways FCC is making an impact.

While the event is free, space is limited, and seats are filling fast. Those interested in attending are asked to register at fcconline.org to secure their spot by October 25. Guests coming from Winona can sign up for free coach bus transportation to and from the event when they register at fcconline.org. The bus will begin boarding at 4:20 p.m. and depart at 5:15 p.m. It will depart at 8:00 p.m., returning to Winona by 8:30 p.m.

Family & Children’s Center operates 25 programs in five communities: La Crosse, Wis., Winona. Minn. and Viroqua, Black River Falls and Sparta, Wis., serving 5,500 people.

Co-chairs for the event are Jerry Papenfuss and Andrea Wieser. Underwriters for the event are The Weber Group, Wieser Brothers General Contractor, Inc. and the Russell L. and Vera M. Smith Foundation.
